Thanks for visiting our site about all things barbecue.  We are huge barbecue fans in the state of Alabama.  The metro Birmingham area has more barbecue restaurants that McDonalds.  Often there is a need to go out to dinner just to save time, or just to avoid having to cook and clean, but nothing beats making your own barbecue.

Check out my blogs discussing the finer details about what barbecue means to us in the South, as well as those who consider themselves bbq snobs.

This site will discuss topics including bbq recipes (food, sauce, rubs, marinades) as well as specific cuts of meat (boston butts, pork shoulder, beef brisket, chicken and ribs).   We will also review grilling accessories, barbecue joints, and even books on barbecue.  Feel free to comment, add suggestions and share with friends and family.
